About Us

Matt Maughan, PharmD, MHCDS, is the Co-founder and President of My Super Oil. He has worked for over 15 years as a hospital pharmacy leader and led many entrepreneurial efforts. He received the 2022 New Hampshire Pharmacist Association Excellence in Innovation Award. Matt’s pharmacy career has happened at the intersection of wanting to help people and wanting to create better processes to allow other health care professionals to do their work better. He has been married 20 years and he and his wife Lil have two teenage boys. They have lived all over, including South Carolina, Pennsylvania, Utah, Qatar, and now New Hampshire. Whether it’s Qatar or New Hampshire, Matt enjoys being involved in the communities he lives in through local runs, professional pharmacy societies, or his church congregation. When Matt’s uncle offered him the chance to bring Omega 20 and Osteo Density to more people, Matt read the published peer-reviewed articles about the natural ingredients and decided there were people that could be helped by this product. Matt then asked his elementary school classmate, Lea, to join him in bringing Omega 20 to as many people as possible. 

Lea Dalton is Co-founder and Vice-President of My Super Oil which makes Omega 20 and Osteo Density. Before founding My Super Oil, Lea worked in banking and marketing and then built up an e-commerce team of over 30,000 community members with highest monthly sales of 3.5 million within the first three years. When Matt approached her with this new opportunity, Lea quickly saw the value in this product and knew it needed to be brought to the masses to help improve people’s lives and health. Her mission is to teach people why Omega 20 is different, and she is passionate about sharing that knowledge with everyone. Lea is also a mom to 5 kids and two grandkids. She has been married 26 years to her high school sweetheart, Daniel. They have returned to live in their hometown, North Ogden, Utah, after stints in Wyoming, Arizona, and South Dakota. Even though Lea now has a swimming pool in her backyard, don’t ask her to get in because she hates swimming. Instead, she plays Merge Dragons religiously every day and is addicted to growing her dragon power!

There is a long history of the New Zealand Green Lipped Mussel (NZGLM) being used for all sorts of reasons including heart health and joint health. Published articles that go back to the early 1980’s discuss the potential benefits. These studies have also shown that effectiveness is entirely dependent on how the NZGLM is processed from a raw ingredient to a usable ingredient. Our unique manufacturing methods allow us to provide perhaps the highest and most complete number of beneficial Omega 3 fatty acids. And why would we want more Omega 3 fatty acids? Heart-healthy Omega 3 fatty acids are largely missing from the Western diet, and, even in other cultures, Omega 3s are often not at optimal levels. In addition, published research about Omega 20 has demonstrated that our natural product also has powerful anti-inflammatory properties. Inflammation is one of the root causes of many health concerns. However, traditional anti-inflammatory products like ibuprofen and naproxen can disrupt the blood clotting mechanisms in your body and can also create ulcers if used regularly. Omega 20 doesn’t have any of those side effects! Our thorough manufacturing process allows us to extract even more goodness from the powdered NZGLM, such as essential proteins, carotenoids, and other phospholipids.
